Cooperation between farmers and distributors yields fruits (and veg!)

In 1971 the worl's first farmers' co-operative for biodynamic field vegetables was founded Erzeugergemeinschaft fur Demeter- Feldgemuse e.V.

In 1992 Demeter-Felderzeugnisse GmbH was founded by the farmers' cooperative in order to market the products of the members. In 1994 new distribution channels were developed. Catering and retail companies could now be supplied with organic deep frozen vegetables.

As the first farmers' cooperative of bio-dynamic farmers worldwide, we have been supporting the production of raw materials, and their processing into finished products, for more than 30 years. Since the 70's our co-operative has developed into a modern trade organisation which integrates production and distribution, and which with its Demeter and organic products, offers an ecological and sustainable alternative to customers.

We stand for a fair and trusting partnership with our farmers, processors and customers and we aspire to the highest possible product quality. Sustainable agriculture, processing raw ingredients with respect for the product, and social responsibility have been realised through the company and our production methods. We now have over 250 demeter & organic frozen products for the catering sector, and over 110 for the whole food retail trade. The increasing demand for our products shows the confidence customers have placed in us. We use no artificial additives, colourings, preservatives, taste enhancers, aromas or other materials that could compromise product purity. Through consistently using natural processing technologies, our products are free from additives. We're continuing to see the fruits of our cooperation in all that we do, and hope that you enjoy our products.
