Potters Cough Remover 150ml (Case Qty: 6)

A herbal remedy containing black cohosh, ipecacuanha, lobelia, pleurisy root, scullcap, elecampane, horehound and hyssop. The mixture is supplied in a glass bottle with a screw cap.

Recommended Dosage

Adults and the elderly: Two 5ml teaspoonfuls three times a day.

The use in children and adolescents under the age of 12 is not recommended.

Ingredients

Active ingredients (per 5ml):
Black cohosh (cimicifuga racemosa L. Nutt.) 5mg, ipecacuanha (cephaelis ipecacuanha) BP 6.5mg, lobelia (lobelia inflata L.) BP 12mg, pleurisy (asclepias tuberosa L.) root 12mg, scullcap (scutellaria lateriflora L.) 12.5mg, liquid extract elecampane (inula helenium L.) (1:1 21% alcohol) 0.075ml, liquid extract horehound (marrubium vulgare L.) (1:1 21% alcohol) 0.1ml, liquid extract hyssop (hyssopus officinalis L.) (1:1 21% alcohol) 0.075ml.
This product also contains: Ethanol (alcohol), sucrose (syrup), methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl hydroxybenzoate (E216).

Cautions

Do not take cough remover:

If you have previously had an allergic reaction to any of the active ingredients, or any of the other ingredients in the product If you are pregnant or breastfeeding your baby If you have liver disease, liver or renal impairment If you suffer from epilepsy If you are having treatment or have a history of an oestrogen dependent tumour.

Consult your doctor before taking this product if:

You are taking other medication known to react with alcohol (eg metronidazole) You suffer from alcoholism.
