Zesty-tasting Apple Cider Vinegar is made from certified 100% organic apples, without using chemicals, additives, or preservatives. The natural fermentation process creates an earthy-coloured vinegar with a wonderfully subtle apple taste, and 5% acetic acid.
The natural sediment, called ‘mother’, - the true sign of raw, unfiltered vinegar - contains pectin, trace minerals, friendly bacteria and enzymes, making it one of the best functional foods available today. Filtration and pasteurisation inactivate these bacteria, as well as the enzymes and pectin. Very clear vinegars do not contain ‘mother’.
Serving Suggestion
Take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 mls) with one cup of water and a teaspoon of unpasteurised honey (optional), up to 3 times a day. Mix into salad dressings, sauces, marinades and pickling recipes.
